About us

The SafeTicket Team

We are an international and interdisciplinary team which has taken shape while taking part in the German government’s ‘WirVsVirus-Hackathon’. We have been developing the SafeTicket web app, on a pro bono basis, over a four week period.

The team is made up of six IT developers, a police officer, a university language teacher/translator, (5 languages), a lawyer, a marketing specialist and a British journalist from Brussels (BEL). We all live and work in Germany or Belgium.

EUVSVirus Hackaton

Of course we also participated in the EUvsVirus Hackathon of the European Commission - because SafeTicket is the solution for all European countries to make their lockdown as stress-free as possible for authorities and citizens. Here we have compiled the results of this hackathon and also posted a small video.
30 projects from the Federal Government's hackathon are supported in the Solution Enabler Program under the patronage of the Federal Chancellery. We are proud to be part of it.

The results of the WirvsVirus Hackathon of the German Federal Government can be found here.. And of course the Hackathon ended with a video.
